She was born on 19 July to Vincent and Nimmy in Idakochi. Her father is a government staff and her mother Nimmy, is a yesteryear actress. It is because of her mother, she got her first break in the reality TV show “Nakshatradeepangal” that aired on Kairali TV. Her mother is her mentor and takes care of her between shoots and on the sets. Meghna lives with her grandmother and mother in Idakochi.

Her interest in dancing and music expressed itself well into her childhood. She has been trained in Classical Dance. Her Arangetram was held in Guruvayur temple. She won a State level Kalathilakam in 2000. She won several other awards through her dance performances at the state level. Her first dance teacher was Vimala Narayanam. Meghna has a B.Com degree in Computer Applications.

Meghna won Special Jury Award for Best Actress in the Asianet Television Awards in 2014.

On 14th February 2016, Meghna’s engagement ceremony was held with Don Tom. Don is the brother of TV/Movie Actress Dimple Rose. The marriage was fixed by their parents. Don hails from Thrissur in Kerala. He attended Santa Maria Academy. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the company Dream Creations. They tied the knot on the auspicious day of 14th April 2016.
