She continued her winning spree with another State Award in 2012 for her role as Rima in a movie. She got her 2nd Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for her role as Reema in, "Oomakkuyil Padumbol".

She wonderfully portrayed the role of a simple girl who was forcefully transferred to a posh school against her wishes. Malavika was born on 23rd June, 1999, and she resides with her family at Thrissur, Kerala. She attributes all her success to her supportive parents, Setu and Suchitra.
