Malavika Nair is a Telugu and Tamil film actress. A young talent who established herself in such a short span of time. Nair, born in 1996, Delhi, hails from Kerala. She did her schooling from Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Thrissur, Kerala.
She was inclined towards this glamour world since her childhood. She did modelling in her school days. She, in fact, entered the industry at the young age of 13. She was seen in a music video named “Rithukkal” which gathered wide popularity. Numerous advertisements fell in her lap without much struggle because of her exceptionally appreciable skills. She got the opportunities to be the female antagonist for the first time in the Malayalam movie ‘black butterfly’ in the year 2013 which was critically acclaimed and commercially succeeded. She played the lead role of a housemaid ‘ Reena’ who faced acid attack. Her performance in the movie eased her struggle and increased the chances for her to grab some other good projects when director Raju Murugan cast her in “cuckoo”. Ones again she proved that her age cannot restrict her acting abilities. The movie gained wide popularity, and so does her role of a blind girl.
She was felicitated with the Vijay Award for the best debut actor, SICA award for the best newcomer, Vikatan Award for the best actress and Kerala state film award twice in her short career span.
She is a good singer and a great dancer. She also marked her presence in many television series like Sreeguruvayoorappan, Sreekrishna Leela, and Sevi Mahatmyam.

Mallika Sukumaran

Mallika Sukumaran is a yesteryear actress who debuted in 1974 in the movie Uttarayanam directed by G. Aravindan. She was born in 1954 in Haripad, Alappuzha district, Kerala. She married the late actor Sukumaran in the year 1979 and withdrew from the film industry to devoted her time for her family until her husband’s death in 1997. She made a comeback with a K.K. Rajeev Teleserial Paithozhiyathe with notable actors like Thilakan and Jayabharathi.  After that she did not have to look back, she continued acting in many serials portraying both positive and negative characters. Some of her noted serials during that time were Valayam, Sthree Oru Santhwanam, Snehadooram, American dreams, Porutham, and Harichandanam. She was appreciated for her performance of evil mother-in-law in Sthree Oru Santhwanam. Even while portraying negative characters she surprised the audience with her humorous side in serials like Indhumukhi Chandramathi costarring Manju Pillai in Surya TV, which was a great hit at that time. She also judged a reality show in Kairali TV,  Amma Ammayiyama. She also started to work in movies and have done many character roles with many prominent directors. In the movie Ammakilikoodu, her role as Saramma, an inmate in an old age home, who had been a head constable during her prime years was very much appreciated. In the movie, she shared the screen space with her son Prithviraj Sukumaran and many notable actresses like Kaviyoor Ponnamma and KPAC Lalitha. She has done many more movies like Romeo, Calendar, Ammanilavu, Thirakkatha, Chotta Mumbai and the latest one is Njanum Ente Familiyum.  She has two sons who are well-known Actors in Malayalam film industry, Indrajith, and Prithviraj. Her Eldest daughter-in-law Poornima is an actress and a Fashion Designer and her younger daughter-in-law Supriya worked as BBC correspondent from Mumbai. She has three grandchildren with whom she likes to spend most of her time. She was honored with Kerala state award for supporting actress in Swapanadanam in 1974.
