Rehana Fathima is a social activist cum actress who was born and brought up in Kochi, Kerala. She is also addressed as Suryagayathri. Her father is Pyarijan Sulaiman. He died when Fathima was doing her school final. Fathima has a sister. Rehana Fathima completed her studies at Indira Gandhi National Open University. Rehana Fathima was married to “Manoj K Sreedhar,” who directed the Malayalam film, “Eka.” She played a role in that movie. The couple has a son and daughter. In 2021, Manoj announced his separation from Rehana Fathima.
She is popular for protesting against sexism and moral policing. Shareeram Samaram Sannidhyam is her autobiography. She was stopped by a group of people when she tried to enter the Sabarimala temple with two other women after the Supreme Court permitted the entry of women of all ages to the shrine. She worked in BSNL till 2020.
