Kalamandalam Hyderali was recognized as one of the best Kathakali singers from the south of his generation. He was a native resident of Trissur. At the age of 11, he joined Kerala kalamandalam. Being poor, his family had to struggle a lot. Hyderali along with Venmani Haridas and Kalamandalam Sankaran Embranthiri shaped Kathakali music into what it's now today, thereby making it more widespread.
