Jayan Naduvathazhath, also known as Jayakumar Naduvathazhath, is an Indian screenwriter and director, who mostly works in the Malayalam cinemas. Jayan's entry into the mainstream film industry as a co-writer happened with the movie Al Mallu. His web series Christopher and Philucifer, which was broadcast on Kerala Vision, was included in Film Companion's list of the top 12 highly recommended Malayalam web series.
At the 7th Art International Independent Film Festival, Naduvathazhath’s feature film 28, which he had also written and directed, received an ‘Honorable Mention’ award. The second film written and directed by Jayan, ‘Sanjay on Call,’ has received numerous international cinema prizes from the Indo-French Film Festival, Sweden Cinema Festival, MADFA, and other film festivals. He is known for other movies like Guzman Gomez, Life Jor, Ponthooval, and many others.
