G. R. Indugopan

GR Indugopan is a famous Indian screenwriter, director, and lyricist working primarily in the Malayalam Film Industry. He was born on 19 April 1974 in Valathungal, Kollam, Kerala. GR Indugopan is known for writing several novels, short story anthologies, travelogues, memoirs, and Malayalam movies. He wrote the first technology novel in Malayalam, Ice 196 degrees Celsius, published by DC books and is based on nanotechnology. Cheenkanni Vettakkarante Athmakathayum Muthala Layaniyum, Manaljeevikal, Iruttu Pathradhipar, Bhoomi Smasanam, and Vellimoonga are some of the most popular books by GR Indugopan. One of his novels, Kali Gandhaki, has been made into a Tele-series by Madhupal.

He also worked as a sub-editor for Malayala Manorama Daily in Kerala. He made his debut in Mollywood in 2007 with the movie, Ottakkayyan as a director, writer, and lyricist.
