Amritha was always interested in music, dance, drawing and acting since her childhood days. She became a trained classical dancer under the guidance of Mrs. Soumya Sathish and mastered in playing violin under the inspection of her teacher Vinayaka. Amritha studied in Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Senior Higher Secondary School in Elamakara of Ernakulam District. She was a very active student, and because of her interests and talent, she won various competitions in School Kalosavams at district and state level. Even with her busy schedules, Amritha was always equally dedicated and hard working towards her school as she was in her acting and modeling career.

She used to take help from her classmates to complete her notes and used to take extra classes from her teachers to complete the lessons she missed due to busy schedules. Due to her interest in acting and modeling, Amritha started appearing in ads and in commercials from a very young age.
