Chandini Geetha

Chandni  Geetha was born in Vadakkevila, Kollam city. She then studied B.com at Fatima Mata National College. Chandni participated in a music-based reality show on Mazhavil Manorama channel. This actress began her career in the entertainment industry by becoming a participant in the music-based reality show. She is also a good singer and has sung in two films. She shot to fame by acting in movie 'Celluloid' which was a Malayalam biographical docu-drama, produced and directed by Kamal aka Kamaluddin Mohammed Majeed. In this film, she acted in the role of Rosie.

The film was a hit and also well received by critics. It was Chandni’s debut movie. Her next project was 'Negalukal', a Malayalam movie written and directed by Avira Rabecca that features Manoj K Jayan in the lead and Chandni, Irshad, Babu Annoor, and Bibin played important roles. This movie released in 2015 and was also another docu-fiction film which narrated the story of Darappan, a 60-year old farmer who belonged to Kurichiya tribe of Wayanad. The film had a limited budget, but was made to reach the wider audiences in the parts of Kerala. This film received many acclaims in film festivals. In Negalukal, Chandni was chosen to play a de-glam avatar once again. Since the role was challenging she signed the film on a dotted line then and played the character of the daughter of Manoj K Jayan, a farmer in the movie.

Her third film, Sujith S Nair's 'Vakku', was a commercial movie and did not project her de-glam look anymore. In this movie, people would notice her glamorous look which is an essential aspect of a heroine. And this was the movie that made the audience sit and watch her original look. She is extremely glamorous and beautiful. But after this movie, she often had felt that fame is not everything for which she chooses any film. Chandni played the role of a studious, orthodox, Muslim girl in the film ‘Vakku’. The reason she chose the movie ‘Vakku’ that she wanted to get captured through the lens by cameraman Madhu Ambat who handled the photography.

Another reason was that the story was written by Madhupal. The film is likely to release soon. Chandni Geetha was born in Vadakkevila, Kollam and got married to Vishnu, who is from Edapazhinji in June 2017. At the time of their marriage, her husband Vishnu was a marketing manager in a private firm in Kochi. She is the daughter of Prem Kumar and Geetha whose are from Kollam. The actress is an M.Com graduate and has worked as a teacher at St. Xavier's College, Thumba in Thiruvananthapuram.
