Shafeeq

Shafeeq was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is also well-known by the name “Sanjay” and “ Varun Raj Bio coming soon... >> Read More... .” He is an actor mainly known for his work in Malayalam and Tamil films. “ Love Story ‘Love Story’ was a series that was telecast on SAB >> Read More... ” was Shafeeq’s debut Malayalam film which was a memorable hit and he was replicated as a challenging character to Rahman, the romantic hero of Malayalam films. Shafeeq was the one who carried “Break Dance” movements in Malayalam films, but his following movies like “Naalae Njangalude Vivaha,” flopped and he could not endure his success.

He entered as “Sanjay” in a Tamil film “Odangal”, also met the unexcited response. Shafeeq later did low-budget pictures like “Kalpana House”. He started calling himself as “Varun Raj” In the 90’s.

He grew a mustache and struggled to work again in Tamil films like “Thoothu Po Chellakiliye,” “Padhukappu,” “Athipathi,” and Manivannan’s “Gangai Karai Pattu,” with little achievement. He also acted in a Bollywood movie name “Khuli Khidki”(1989). He also made a film; “Avanazhi” in 1986. “Ishtam Tharoo,” “Nandhi,” “Ithrayum Kaalam,” “Mangalya Charthu,” was few movies that showcased Shafeeq as the supporting character in 1987. He also made “Kalaratrilo Kannepilla” in 1991 and acted his last film “Veettai Paar Naattai Paar” (1994),
