Other names of Kailash: Siby Varghese
Siby Varghese is the original name of Kailash, who works predominantly in Malayalam films. The 2009 flick Neelathaamara is his debut venture. Hailing from Eraviperoor in Kerala, Kailash did his studies in Kozhencherry and also graduated. During those days, he dreamt of becoming an actor. Hence, he travelled to Ernakulam. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Applications.
 
During the initial stages of his profession, Kailash founded Expressions, an event management group. The year 2009 marked his entry into family life. He is blessed with a kid. Kailash kickstarted his profession as a junior actor and the 2009 flick Neelathaamara was a landmark in his career. Yusuf Ali Kechary’s 1979 flick was remade into Neelathaamara. The flick Best of Luck had Kailash sharing screen space with Mammootty.Kailash donned the character of Haridas in this flick. 
 
The 2008 flick Parthan Kanda Paralokam, which was directed by Anil, had the presence of Kailash. Some of his noticeable films include The Hunt, Banking Hours 10 to 4, Thank you and 10:30 am Local Call. Bhoomiyude Avakashikal is a film in which Kailash worked in the central role, and it was shown at several International Film Festivals. After a short gap, this flick gained him accolades.

Kalabhavan Shajon

Kalabhavan Shajohn is one of the most well-known comedian, actor, and mimicry artist in the Malayalam cinema industry. He is renowned for his role as a villain in the award winning Malayalam suspense thriller movie, ‘Drishyam’ which came out in the year 2013. He was born as Shaji John to parents E. J. John, a retired police officer (ASI) and Rejina John, who a was a retired nurse. Shaji’s birth took place in the city of Kottayam in Kerala. After completing his schooling, he graduated from St. Mary’s College located in Manarcad. He later moved to Kochi where he joined ‘Kalabhavan’ the famous art institute that has produced countless artists and stars in the Malayalam film industry like Dileep, Lal, Kalabhavan Mani, etc. He began his job as a mimicry artist with Kalabhavan and went on to do a lot of stage shows and the famous ‘Mimics Parade’ by the Institute. His brother, Shibu John is also a mimicry artist. He gained his stage name ‘Kalabhavan Shajohn’ as a result of his name being called out so frequently that Shaji John eventually became ‘Shajohn.' He shot to fame after he was cast in minor comedic roles in Malayalam movies. He appeared as a duplicate for actor ‘Kalabhavan Mani’ in the 1999 film ‘My Dear Karadi’. He was noticed later in the year 2001 in director Thaha’s comedy super hit movie, ‘Ee Parakkum Thalika’ where he appeared as a traffic police officer. He later appeared in a lot of Malayalam movies like ‘Chirikudukka’ and ‘Bamboo Boys’ in 2002, ‘Thilakkam’ and ‘CID Moosa’ in 2003, ‘Kochirajavu’ and ‘Rajamanikyam’ in 2005, etc., only to name a few. In 2013, he gained critical recognition for his villainous role as ‘Constable Sahadevan’ in Jeethu Joseph’ super hit Malayalam movie, ‘Drishyam’. He was cast opposite other stars in the industry like Mohanlal, Asha Sharath, Meena, Siddique, etc. He won various awards for his notorious role including the ‘Best Actor in a Negative Role’ by South Indian International Movie Awards in the year 2013. On October 28th in 2004, he got married to Dini, and they now have two children named Hannaa and Yohan.
