SV Pradeep is an Indian Malayalam journalist. He was born in Pallichal, Thiruvananthapuram. He completed his primary schooling at Margregorois English Medium School. He completed his high school at Mannam Memorial NSS English Medium School. He graduated from Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram. He holds a PG Diploma in Journalism from Institute of Journalism, Press Club, Thiruvananthapuram. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Laws at Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. He has a Diploma in Theatre Arts, HRD and Abhinaya Theatre, Thiruvananthapuram. He has worked at many media outlets including Media One, Manorama News, Kairali TV, Jaihind, Mangalam TV, and News18.
He is a former founder editor at Herald News TV, former founder at Brahma News, former founder editor at Karma News, former senior news editor at Mangalam Television, Senior Anchor at News18 Kerala, Chief Broadcast Journalist at Kairali People TV, Manorama News, Media One News, Jaihind News, DDK News, and AIR News. He died in a hit and run road accident on 14th December 2020, near Karakkamandapam, Thiruvananthapuram.
