Sachy

K R Sachidanandan who is popularly known as Sachy, is a writer. He was born in Kodungallur, Thrissur district of Kerala. He is a multi-talented person. He is a theatre artist, director, writer, producer Film script writer and many more. All these roles exist within a single person. Under the stamp of Thakkal Film Production House, he is the producer along with four other people, namely, S. Karyal, B. Menon, P. Surukumar and S. Krishna. He is a well known and famous director and a producer in the Malayalam Film Industry.

Along with the writer Sethu, he produced a number of super hit movies like Chocolate in the year 2007, Makeup Man Click to look into! >> Read More... in 2011, Robinhood in the year 2009, Seniors in the year 2012, and many more. He is famous for his script writing because his scripts contain a spice and entertaining words and phrases. Anarkali marked the debut of Sachy as a director. Sachy was born in Kodungallor, Thrissur district in Kerala and he was brought up in the same place. His present location of residence is Thripunithura in Cochin, Kerala. From SNM College he obtained his Degree of Commerce.

From Government Law College in Ernakulam he obtained a LLB degree as well. In the High Court of Kerala he was a lawyer in criminal and constitutional Laws and served for eight years. During his college days, he was a very enthusiastic participant in Theatre shows organised by his College Film Society and even directed some small drama shows. The film starred P. Sukumuran. He was the co-producer of the film Chettayes, and he got that chance mainly due to his friendship with the four members of the Thakkal Film Production House.

He broke his tie with Sethu in the year 2011 but he did not stop writing his scripts. His first movie as a director was released on the 13th of November in the year 2015 and was named Anarkali. The movie was produced by R. Nair by his own production house Magic Moon. The music of the film was done by Vidyasagar. The film was a great hit and he was lucky to have got such a good response for his debut directorial venture.
