Jithin Lal

Jithin Lal is an assistant director and director of the Malayalam film industry. His hometown is Thiruvananthapuram, and he currently resides in Kochi, Kerala. He is also a software engineer by profession.

He started working as a software engineer at Estrrado Technologies. After working for some years, he left the company to form a music band named ‘Kalyug-The Band’. He then founded Estrrado Entertainments and started working as a director/assistant director. His debut film was “Ennu Ninte Moideen” (2015), where he had worked as the first assistant director along with R.S. Vimal. He is the owner/founder of “Street-M G Road”, a restaurant-cum-cinema hall situated in Trivandrum, Kerala. It is an artistic place to eat and meet and was inaugurated in January 2017. He has also co-founded ‘Smile Mask’, a website with designable and comfortable masks, in June 2020. He took this initiative when the COVID-19 pandemic started.
