Aneesh Anwar

Aneesh Anwar is a Malayalam film director who works in Indian film industry and is known for his skills of writing, script writing, dialogue and lyrics writing as well. Some of his works are Zachariayude Garbhinikal, Kumbasaran, etc. Aneesh was born on 30th June 1981 in Thalassery, Kerala, India but later on shifted to Kochi where he is currently residing. Aneesh completed his school studies from Jawaharlal Nehru GHSS, Mahe and pursued graduation from Mahatma College in Thalassery itself.

He began his career in the cinema world by working as an assistant director with the well-known filmmakers: Joshiy, Bhadran, etc. His first film was Duba where he assisted Joshiy in filmmaking. He further helped him in several other pictures which include Praja, Mampazhakalam, Naran, and Runaway. These movies were blockbusters of their time. Till 2005, he continued working as an assistant filmmaker. Aneesh Anwar started his career as a director with the film Mullamottum Munthiricharum in the year 2012. Released on 12th July, the movie is based on a criminal who works for the rich and the hardship’s when he falls in love with a woman.
