Shyamdhar is an Indian director, known for his work in Malayalam film industry. He was born in Ernakulum, Kerala. He completed his studies from MG University, Kochi, Kerala. After that, he learned film making and did MFA Digital Film Making from Amritha University. He made his debut in the industry with thriller 7th Day starring Prithviraj in 2014.
In 2017, he made Mammootty starrer PullikaranSatraa. He is the Director of Westford Institute of film making since 2015. His first film,7th Day, faced a legal suit after getting in a rift with the censor board regarding the display of warning during certain scenes. The film got a good response from the audience.
