Dancer MadhuMohan is popularly known as Madhu Footlights. He was the Winner of “Let Us Dance Season 2” that aired on Amrita Tv in 2014. Madhu danced alongside Sandra Krishna and grabbed the title of the show. The first season of this dance show was a huge hit, this paved the way for the second series. “Let Us Dance” is a reality show aimed at finding the best pair of performers among the people between18 to 30. Madhu Mohan Madhu Mohan is a popular face in Malayalam and Tam >> Read More... now owns a dance school named “Footlights Dance School.” This was established with a motive to find and uplift the naturally talented youngsters from the backward community. They nurture and train them to perfect the art. Since 2013 they have successfully skilled and raised many exceptional artists to win awards in the particular field. Hip Hop, Bollywood, Salsa, and Contemporary are the main services offered by them.

Madhu pursued his undergraduate degree from “Sree Kerala Varma College,” and his passion for dance kick-started when he joined the college’s dance group. He started participating in many competitions through his college, which helped him learn more about dance, and his interest in dance started to raise rapidly. This was when he decided to take his love for dance seriously. Madhu entered the “Let Us Dance 2” competition as soon as he graduated from college, but that did not halt him from visiting his college frequently to train his juniors in the art form he loved.

Madhu’s father was a professional clarinet player. Having his father hailing from an art background, Madhu had enormous support from his family members to pursue his passion. Not only his family but also his friends and well-wishers helped him establish his dream. His Dance school is also into “Dance Production.” They provide costumes, performance spaces, props, lighting, sound, and multimedia support to the dancers.

Madhu also conducts summer camps and online workshops for people who aspire to become a dancer. As he believes sharing the knowledge is the key to growing it. Madhu is a dance master recognized by the Malayalam film association “FEFKA." He has also set his foot in the movie business as a choreographer. Last but not least, he is a “Guinness World Record Winner” as well.
