Madhu Mohan

Madhu Mohan is a popular face in Malayalam and Tamil television industry. He is an actor, producer, and a well-known director for more than 25 years. Other than his role in the entertainment industry, he is an established businessman and owns a software company. He began his television career in 1997 by producing the first mega serial in Malayalam, “Manasi”, which ran for 240 episodes for three consecutive years, airing twice a week in Doordarshan. He, later on, produced the first daily soap, “Sneha Seema”, for Doordarshan, which had 260 episodes.

He ventured into Tamil television with two daily soaps, “Pennurimai” and “Raagasudha” in DD Podhigai, which aired 260 episodes each. He owns an unbeatable team of writers and technicians who work for him throughout the year. He also produced a mythological show, “ Krishna Kripa Sagaram” for Amritha TV. The acting was always a passion for him even when he ventured into Production and Direction. Vasudevan Nair, Jnanpith, and Padma Bhushan, which are all awardees of Malayalam literature. His production companies also hold the rights of serialization of most of the other literary works of other prominent Malayalam writers. He is now busy in the Tamil television industry, acting and producing Tamil serials. He has acted in around 2,640 serials in Malayalam as the lead actor, and 1590 in Tamil as per the details found on his official website. Currently, he is producing and acting in serials which are telecasted on Sun TV and Zee Tamil. He is married to the daughter of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Dr. M.G.R. Mr. Madhumohan is also the Trustee for Dr. MGR Memorial Educational Trust and Correspondent of Dr.MGR Nursery & Primary School.

Madhu Mohan was born on 9 June 1963. He is the son of Dr. V. R. Nair and Mrs. Padmini Amma. The actor is married to Geetha Madhu Mohan, and they have a child named Anand Madhu Mohan. He is a graduate of Victoria College, Palakkad.
