Vijay Chendoor is an Indian film actor and writer working mainly in Kannada and Telugu movies. He worked as a writer for the film Rocky (2008) before starting his acting career in Swayam Krushi (2011). His working mate in the project Rocky, Yash, recommended him as an actor in the 2012 romantic comedy Lucky. He acted in another film, a horror thriller 6-5=2 (2013) and Karvva(2016). For his movie Karvva, Vijay received an IIFA Utsavam Award Nomination for Best Comedian the same year. He was also a part of various commercial hits like Psycho Shankara (2017), Nan Magale Heroine (2017), Buckaasuura (2018), Padarasa(2018), and a satirical comedy film Humble Politician Nograj(2018), for which he was nominated for the best comedian for the 8th South Indian International Movie Awards in 2019.
