Asmita Marwa is a fashion designer from India, who was rated as one of the top 9 upcoming international designers by Vogue. She showcased her ability in an outstanding avatar in Kalamkari. Asmita Marwa is married to Harvesh Marwah who is a businessman and has a son, Karan AryamanMarwaha. Asmita launched her fashion label in the year 2003 and sold her clothing range in the store XLNC located in Hyderabad, Revesd’Etoile, and AZA located in Delhi and Mumbai. She also featured her designs in the Blenders Pride Fashion Fringe Show in the year 2004 and The Lakme India Fashion Week in the year 2008. Her next collection was the Gaia-An Awakening was launched in April 2008 and her Fall Winter collection Maya and her Jaggery Knots in March 2009.

Asmita Marwa also wrote style columns for the Hyderabad Times Asmita Marwa believed that Fashion was a way of living than dressing as she seeks to put her designs in the hand of common women as she dreamt of changing the meaning of fashion designing.
