Ramesh Chandra, or K. Ramesh, is an Indian singer working in the Kannada film industry. He was born in the year 1963 in Bangalore, Karnataka, and raised in Kasadgod. Chandra Jyothi is his wife, and they have a son. Ramesh has taken music training under the Carnatic musician Kalmady Sadadhiva Achar in Kasargod. His musical journey brought him to the Sadhana School of Music in Bangalore, where he worked under G. V. Atri.
Ramesh began to sing on stage and was a track singer for K. J. Yesudas, Dr. Rajkumar, and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. One of his songs- O Mallige Ninnondige, became his first film song after being featured in the film- Anuraga Sangama (1995).
