K N Nagesh Kogilu

K N Nagesh Kogilu was born in an agricultural family in Yelahanka, Karnataka. Though Nagesh Kogilu’s dream was to become an actor, he went on to become a promising Indian film producer. He had played a small part in the Kannada film Nam Areal Ondina but said that he never got any other offers for acting after that. Kogilu works predominantly in the Kannada film industry or Sandalwood. 

K N Nagesh's first production to hit the theatres was Huliraaya, which was released on 06th October 2017. Huliraaya received positive reviews from critics, and had been the movie that brought K N Nagesh Kogilu to the limelight in the Kannada film industry as a producer. The movie was directed by Aravind Kaushik and the soundtrack and score for the film were done by Arjun Ramu.
