She made many Kannada films rather than Telegu films. Her film Nishabdha became a hit in the year 1988. Her produced films were “Mukund,” Murari,” Sri Manjunatha” and “Vandemataram.” She appeared as a guest in “big boss Kannada,” which is a very famous television series. There was a dark side to her career. She was arrested for cheque bounce for which she was poisoned for a few months. After she came back, she made many films in Telegu. Unfortunately, she expired on 13th February.

Jayashree Devi is a Kannada Producer known for the movies Nammoora Mandara Hoove, Habba, Nishyabda, etc. She has worked primarily in the Kannada industry and has produced more than 20 films. She lives in Bangalore and has made many Telugu films too. Jayashree originally a journalist started her career as a director with Kona Edaithe and also directed Bhavani. Later she became a full-time director. She also has a daughter who lives in Hyderabad. Jayashree passed away on 13 February 2019 at 60 through a cardiac attack. She breathed her last breath in Hyderabad.
