Deepak Paladka (Stage name) was born under the name of Deepak D Silva in Paladka which is near Moodabidre.He is an Indian stage artist and a film actor popularly known for his works in the Telugu film industry.He currently resides in the Gulf where he gets offers for films and continues his passion of acting.His acting in Konkani dramas such as Ootre Uzwadle, Sangon Mugdhana and Kasale Grahachar Saiba got him popularity and recognition amongst the drama loving audiences. He got recognition for his work while playing the role of the lead character, Deepu, in a comedy Telugu film called Nirel which got released in the year 2014. The movie went onto winning five awards which also includes the award for being the Best Movie Award at the Telugu Cinemotsava which was held the following year in 2015. He went onto doing other roles in various other films and continued working in the Gulf to support his family yet continuing his passion for making it big in the film industry as an actor living in the Gulf which is indeed challenging. He usually did movies filmed and shot in Mangalore, India yet he was lucky to land his second movie with Shodhan Prasad in the film Dhand which got released on 4th September 2015. The film was solely produced by Shodhan Prasad this time yet again directed by Ranjith Bajpe. Dhand was the first Telugu film which got released internationally in both UK and Australia.

He later went onto doing a Konkani film called Ek Aslyar Ek Na which got released on 27th October 2015. The film was produced by Frank Fernandes and directed by Pradeep Paladka. This movie as well went onto getting released firstly in India and later on internationally as well in Israel, UAE and Kuwait. Being a comedy stage actor in his initial years, he appeared in fifteen to twenty stage plays and dramas in various languages such as Kannada, Konkani, and Telugu. Along with being on the small and big screen, he has also made radio appearances on programs in 93.4 Ref FM and Radio Spice Dubai.
