Avinash is a Kannada actor, who has starred in South Indian language films and notably in the Kannada, Telugu and Tamil film industries. Avinash completed Master of Arts in Literature from the Mysore University and began his Career as a lecturer of English. In the beginning of his career, he was very active in the English theater circuit in Bangalore. He was following theater during his college days and he got into films. Avinash has acted in more than 200 movies in his career. Avinash married lawyer turned actress Malavika, who was his co-star in the soap opera Mayamriga.
Avinash made his debut in the movie ‘Thrishoola’. Unfortunately, the movie was not released due to reasons. He was introduced to the Kannada film industry through another movie “Samyuktha”. His first notable role was as saint Madhvacharya in the movie Madhavacharya by G.V.Iyer. Some of the famous films in which he acted are Chinnari Mutha, Nishkarsha, Mathadaana, lockup death, Appu, Dweepa, Chigurida Kanasu, Apthamitra, Chandramukhi, and Amrithadhare.
