S Mahendar is a person who is very experienced and have knowledge of the Kannada film industry inside out. He is a director, writer, and singer. And very well known in Karnataka. He started his career since 1993, directing and being the writer of the movie Shrungara Kavya. It was a movie that took him up steady high. And later he started directing movies and writing screenplay, lyrics, dialogues on his own. And he did release more than one movie at a time of the year. And never the less it was a success. His movies would run in theaters without any fail and keep up the production on the go. He is married to Yashodha in the year 2012, after being divorced from his last marriage, after eleven years with the actress Shruti. He also has a child named Mahendra Gowri to his first wife. Although he may be affected by his personal life, he had a career which was quite successful that lead him to more opportunities. He has recently released a movie, which is a love story named Paapu.
