Mounesh L Badiger is a talented and versatile actor, director, and writer from the Kannada film industry. He also teaches acting and directs various Kannada plays and films. He was born on 21 March 1984. He did schooling from Christha Vidhyalaya. He studied theatre at Neenasam Theatre Institute. He is the theatre director at Aadyantha Naatya Prayoga Shale. He has taught acting and theatre in several schools, colleges, and nongovernment organizations. He made the acting curriculum for many schools. He was also the theatre critic in leading Kannada daily Prajavani.

Mounesh has over 18 years of experience in teaching acting and directing. He has directed the short film Nirvana. It was the second Best Short Film at the Bangalore International Short Film Festival organized by Suchitra Film Society. His other directed project is  Kannada Kaavya Kannadi, based on two visual poems by Rashtrakavi Kuvempu and Dr. Chandrasekhara Kambara.

The book received various awards, such as the Chanda Book Prize winner, the Dr. U.R. Ananthamurthy Award, and the Basavaraj Kattimani Award. He was also honored with the first Kannada Totto Award in 2011 and Kendra Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskara in 2015.

His notable literary works are the postmodern play Vidhvamsaka Shanti Kendra (Vishanke),  poetic dialogues for love and lovers Premavemba Avargiya Vyanjana, and Kannina Khayile, a collection of short stories. His book Abhinaya Kalisalu Saadhyavilla is about new actors who want to learn acting. He translated the famous play Dak Ghar, written by Rabindranath Tagore to a Kannada language. It is a short two-act play of the psychological and physical potential of the child.
