Sameer Gardezi

Sameer Gardezi, born Sameer Azad Gardezi, is a renowned writer and producer in the Hollywood TV and Film Industry. Sameer was born on April 27th, 1983, in West Covina, California, United States of America. He is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi languages. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Cinema-Television and Classics in 2005 from the University of Southern California. Sameer debuted with the Nickelodeon Writing Fellowship, and since then, he has worked for several channels listed here: Comedy Central, FOX, NBC, The CW, etc. Some of his most acclaimed TV series are listed here: Modern Family (2009 to 2010), Equal Opportunity (2007), East of La Brea (2018), and Hot Mess Holiday (2021), etc.

Sameer was a nominee for the 2022 Image Award (NAACP) for Outstanding Writing in a Television Movie or Special for his contribution to Hot Mess Holiday and the 2010 Writers Guild of America, USA Award for his work in the comedy series ‘Modern Family.’ Sameer won the 2010 Writers Guild of America, USA (WGA Award, TV) for the comedy series Modern Family.
