Jennifer Pertsch

Originally from Canada, this multi-talented lady is a writer and executive producer and has also worked as a series creator and story editor and currently is the founding partner of Fresh TV. This channel majorly concentrates on teen shows and family programs. Jennifer Pertsch worked as a writer for Nelvana Ltd in her initial days. And got her big break with Fresh TV right after this. Pertsch is known for being the creator of a hit Canadian series, Backstage, Total Drama, Groban; My Babysitter's a Vampire, and 6Teen. Also, she is the executive producer and one of the creators of - Total Drama Island, Total Drama World Tour, Total Drama Action, and Stroked.

As a writer, she has written immensely and for about more than 100 episodes are given credit under her name. These episodic scripts include Braceface - A show about a girl in her 8th standard who faces pre-teenage issues and has magical braces, telecasted on ABC Family and Teletoon, Franklin - Broadcasted on CBS and Family Channel, was based on a turtle and his daily life, Little Bear - A show that was on Nick Jr., CBC and TVO showing a cub and his adventures. Also, recently she has been a part of My Babysitter's a Vampire, and I'm doing many episodes as a writer. One of these shows also got a nomination for Gemini Award for Best Drama Mini-Series or TV Movie.

Her work is commendable and has been applauded many times. Another one of her works, Total Drama Island has received a Gemini Award Nomination for 'Best Animated Program or Series. This Canadian writer isn't that well-known 'On-Screen,' but her work is completely praiseworthy, and the reason why all the Fresh-TV fans are constant because of her work's admiration.
