KRATI TRIPATHI

Krati Tripathi is an artist, computer science engineer, and writer based in London, United Kingdom. She completed her schooling at the Indian Language School in Lagos, Nigeria and at Delhi Public School, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. She has always been an all-rounder. Besides being a brilliant student, she used to participate in co-curricular activities such as English Debating, Hindi Debating, Drama, Mime, Quiz, Creative Writing for School Newsletter, Music (Vocalist), Dance (Bharatnatyam and Western), Painting, Table Tennis, Badminton, Running, Green Club Volunteering, and Compère for Events. After school, she joined Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu, and pursued a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering. Thereafter, she pursued a Master’s in Business Administration from INSEAD Business School of France. 

Krati initially worked as a summer intern for Network Planning and Design at Airtel in 2014. As an intern, she studied GSM and CDMA architecture and the evolution of 3G networks. She also researched the challenges that arise in the planning process of a 3G network and devised methods to overcome them. Next year, she worked as a Production Development intern at VConnect.com in Lagos, Nigeria, and studied various e-commerce models to conduct a comparative study of VConnect, Jumia, Konga, and Flipkart to improve the website user experience.

She also learned to coordinate between all departments, such as Product Development, Social Media, Database, Cataloguing, Sales, Marketing, PR, and Logistics. After that in January 2016, she started working as a Sales and Marketing intern at De-United Foods Industries Limited. In 2019, she moved to Bengaluru, Karnataka, and became a fellow for ‘Young Leaders for Active Citizenship.’ She worked on a project titled ‘Promoting the Tourism Sector in Arunachal Pradesh’ for the member of Parliament, Mr. Ninong Ering. The report briefly explored the factors that served as the bottlenecks to the growth of the tourism sector in Arunachal Pradesh. It inspected the schemes at work and delved into a comparative analysis with the existing tourism frameworks in other states to note the policies and schemes which could facilitate its effective implementation.

These insights culminated in a set of recommendations that were based on an assessment of the viability of their replication in Arunachal Pradesh, given its unique topography, demographics, development, and socio-cultural climate. In 2016, she started working as a Consulting Engineer at Cisco in Bengaluru and helped customers achieve a fully optimized network consistent with their business needs. She also tried to maximize the return on customers' investment by leveraging networking knowledge and customer relationship management skills. She collaborated with various companies such as Visa Inc., Cigna, Automatic Data Processing Inc., CVS Health Corporation, and CDK Global. Since January 2021, she has been working as an Associate at McKinsey Digital in London, United Kingdom. 

Krati is also a passionate writer, and she is also known for writing a short film called Muskaan, which was released in 2014. It was about a struggling street comedian who later becomes an inspiration for the entire nation. Besides, Krati has a long experience of volunteering for different social issues. For example, she served as the Discover Mentor for Make a Difference Foundation to enable better academic outcomes for needy children by curating a decent classroom experience and helping them explore various career paths by discovering their skills and passion. She also set up a blood donation camp for the Youth Red Cross NGO.
