Born on July 5, 1972, in Leningrad, USSR, Gary Shteyngart is an American author.He spent his initial seven years of adolescents living in a square overwhelmed by an enormous statue of Vladimir Lenin, which is currently St. Petersburg in Russia. He has a son Johnny Won Shteyngart. Shteyngart now hails from Gramercy region of Manhattan. He was a writing teacher at Hunter College, and as of now works at Columbia University. In 2007, he had an internship for fall at the American Academy Berlin in Germany. Shteyngart's work has gotten various honors.
