David Kaye

David Kaye is an actor from America who was born in Canada. He is mostly remembered for his off-camera commentary or voice overs. People remember him for his role as a voice artist in eight ‘Transformer’ cartoons, along with his role in the Shonen anime, ‘Inuyasha’. He was born on the 14th of October, 1964. He studied at The New York Academy of Dramatic Arts. He was casted in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, among other plays. David Kaye’s job as a voice artist initialized in the year 1989 with the role of ‘General Hawk’ in the animated series of G.I. Joe. Along with voiceovers, he has also played on-camera ventures, such as guest actor on various television shows and movies like The X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, and Happy Gilmore, along with American actor, Adam Sandler.

David Kaye is hugely known for his role as ‘Megatron’ in the popular, as well as successful series, Transformers. David became the first person of the Transformers franchise to lend his voice as the villain in the lead, as well as the hero in the lead, after being featured as ‘Optimus Prime’ in Transformers: Animated, for the TV channel, Cartoon Network. He also worked as an off-camera commentator for the character ‘Hammerstrike’ in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, the 8th Transformers cartoon he has undertaken. David Kaye’s voice features in anime too.
