Jennie Garth

Jennifer Eve is an American actress. She is popularly known as Jennie Garth. She was born Urbana, Illinois, United States. Her parents were John Garth, and Carolyn Garth She was a high school dropout. She moved to different cities to fulfil her acting dream. When she was in Arizona, she started learning dance and modelling. When she was 15, she took in a local talent competition.

Mr.Randy James, the manager of the talent contest, encouraged her to continue acting. She completed her diploma after she shifted to California. With her regular acting school and local auditions, she bagged the role of Erica McCray in a television series Brand New Life in the year 1989-90. She is well known for her role of Kelly Taylor in Beverly Hills, 90210. She was a part of all the ten seasons of this show. She was appreciated for her relatable and outstanding role. She was also a part of a television sitcom Growing Pains. This character brought along Young Artist Award to her.

She was also nominated for Teen Choice Award. After the success of Beverly Hills, she got shows like Danielle Steel's Star, Without Consent, Lies of the Heart: The Story of Laurie Kellogg, Falling for You, and An Unfinished Affair from the year 1990 - 1996. She did supporting roles in films like Telling You, My Brother's War, and Power 98. In 2005, she did the role Kelly Taylor in the series "Beverly Hills, 90210" and gave voice to her character. She also did another role in "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story". She won Prism Award for a drama film Girl, Positive in the year 2007.

In 2007, she reached the semi- finals of "Dancing With The Stars", where she was paired with Derek Hough. She participated in a game show ‘Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?’ in November 2007.
