Chris Jenkins

Chris Jenkins is an American sound mixing artist. He is a renowned name in Hollywood who has three Oscars to his name for best sound mixing. Chris took birth in Connecticut, northeastern United States. He is the man behind the sound mixing in Batman vs. Superman- Dawn of Justice and Mad Max-Fury Road.

Chris has been behind the scenes providing world-class sounds for over three decades now; he believes in a helping nature and continues to inspire a lot of young artists in the field of music. So, his journey started since he was young, he used to play music in house parties and some odd jam sessions. In the school, he began playing the Clarinet; then he went on to play the saxophone; by the time he went to college, Chris became a part of a college band.

The band delivered some music for almost two years. After graduating, he went to San Francisco, California to work on audio engineering. He got training under the Wally Heider Studios in San Francisco, and his passion for music helped him hone the skill of sound mixing.

When Chris moved to California in 1976, he had only two guitars; after his training, he got invited by an acquaintance to do an internship at the production company, Todd-AO.
