Diane Eve Warren is a renowned American songwriter. She has been nominated eight times for Academy Awards for best original songs.

It was in the year 1988 she was the recipient of the first nomination for the song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" (with Albert Hammond). Later, she received nominations consecutively four times for best original songs. They include "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now’’ (1997), "How Do I Live", "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", and "Music of My Heart"(2000).

She was again lucky to be nominated for her songs three more times and they were "There You'll Be" (2002), "Grateful,” and "Til It Happens to You" (feat. Warren's first hit was "Solitaire,” which was sung by Laura Branigan and topped as the seventh number in the US pop charts in 1983. Warren also wrote three songs melodious for Carrie Underwood's album, Some Hearts. During ‘The Eurovision Song Contest’ held in 2009, she co-wrote with Andrew Lloyd Webber the famous song 'My Time,' and it was sung by sung by Jade Ewen and achieved 5th place.

She participated as a judge for Avon Voices, which was a global online talent search for songwriter , held across 26 countries, and  the participants could take part in over 17 different languages. Warren was one of the judges along with other popular judges such as David Pack, Diego Torres, Fergie, Ivete Sangalo, Lea Salonga, Maía, and Delta Goodrem.

She also wrote a song for the actress and singer Tulisa for her song “Counterfeit"  a part of the singer’s debut solo album The Female Boss in 2012.

She is the first songwriter to have seven hits for all single number charts sung by different artists in the history of Billboard magazine. Also, she has been judged as the third most successful female artist in the US. Her popularity runs beyond the boundaries of her country. She is single and got never married and has felt it is her not her real commitment in life. This songwriter was born on September 7, 1956.
