Snoop Dogg took birth as Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr on 20th October 1971. He is an American rapper from California, United States of America. Snoop Dogg, though widely popular all over the world, only gained his fame in the year of 1993 when he released his debut album, Doggystyle. This album was on the “Billboard 200” chart. Till date, Dogg has sold over 35 million copies of his albums worldwide and sung alongside famous stars all over the world, including the pop singer, Psy of South Korea. Dogg’s albums have been termed 4Xs and 2Xs Platinum in the years 1994 and 1997, respectively. His latest album came out in the year 2015 by the name Bush. Snoop Dogg, apart from being a rapper, is also an actor and a T.V. show host, having hosted shows like Doggy Fizzle Televizzle and Dogg After Dark, among others. He is also a football coach for students of his high school. Snoop Dogg had attended the Long Beach Polytechnic High School, Long Beach, California. Even though Dogg was involved in law matters during his high school, he grew out of it. It was reported that Dogg also went to prison for possession of cocaine as a teenager.
