Jonathan Cavendish is a film producer. He is hugely known for producing the Bridget Jones series of motion pictures and the movie Elizabeth: The Golden Age of 2007. Before starting work in advertising, he was a History student at Oxford University. He played a role in Marketing of the British TV broadcasting service Channel 4 at its launch. He formed a Production company of his own in 1983 called Little Bird in which the well-known American actor and dancer James Mitchell was his partner. This company produced many films like, In My Father’s Den of 2004, Croupier of 1998, and Trauma of 2004.

The studio got the rights to make British writer Samantha Shannon’s novel The Bone Season on the 20th of October, 2012. It also received rights for producing George Orwell’s political satirical novella Animal Farm. Cavendish produced both these motion pictures with Andy Serkis’ help and assistance.
