Sarah Shahi was born on 10 th January 1980 in Euless, Texas. Sarah’s family is of the Iranian descent, he parents split up when she was just 10. Sarah has an elder brother and a younger sister. Sarah’s father had a very grimly exciting past, as he just barely escaped Iran during the Iranian revolution. During that time, Sarah’s father was ordered to be executed but fortunately he made it out of Iran and started working at American Embassy. Sarah was raised in Texas itself, she attended the Trinity High School. At just the age of 8, Sarah started to participate in beauty pageants and hence she developed the taste of performing.
After her schooling, she attended the Southern Methodist University, where she majored in English and Theatres. It was during this college time when she really got into acting, performing at theatres and stage plays gave her the confidence to try her luck out in Hollywood. After her college education is finished, Sarah worked a little bit as an extra on Dr. T and the Women. Later making her debut in Alias, a hit TV series where she often appear as Jenny. She then went on to star in numerous films and TV series like Old School, Rush Hour 3 and The L Word.
