Heather Mitchell was the first female president of the National Farmers Federation and co-founder of Landcare Australia, with prior Victoria premier Joan Kirner. Mitchell learned ballet till she was sixteen. She completed her graduation years with an International Baccalaureate diploma. She studied at Melbourne University to become a lawyer. She finished her undergraduate degree in Arts and Media communication, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of acting. During school time, she took part in different theatre plays.
