Jiang Qinqin is an Actress (Chinese), famous for her portrayal of tragic roles. She was given the stage name ‘Shui Ling’ by writer Chiung Yao, for her contribution in ‘Tears in Heaven’ TV series. She was born on 3rd September 1975 in Chongqing, China. When she was 10years old, she began to learn Beijing Opera. In 1994, she topped the entrance examination and joined the Beijing Film Academy. She made her film debut the same year, in a film ‘Bloody Brothers’. She starred in Chiung Yao’s novel adaptation ‘Tears in Heaven’, in 1997. Her stage name ‘Shui Ling’ means exquisite beauty. She is married to her ‘Qiao’s Grand Courtyard’ co-star Chen Jianbin. The wedding took place on 22-2-2006. They have a son. Her notable tragic characters are Gu Manlu (Affair of Half a Lifetime - 2002), Mu Nianci (The Legend of Condor Heroes - 2003), Niu Hongmei (Loud Slap - 2004).
