Jayne Eastwood

Jayne Eastwood is a Canadian voice, TV, and film actress. She was born on December 17, 1946, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She studied at the Northern Secondary School in Canada. Jayne is married to David Flaherty, who is also an actor and writer from the USA. They have three children, and one of them is an aspiring actress. She started her acting career during the 70s and has played Betty on her first film appearance in the Canadian film, Goin’ Down the Road. Jayne has been one of the original casts of the Toronto branch improvisational theater troupe called The Second City and Stephen Schwartz’ Godspell.

Jayne is also a semi-regular in the Canadian sketch comedy show, SCTV (Second City Television). In 2005, she was cast on CBC Television’s legal drama series, “This is Wonderland”. She played the role of Miss Wimsey, a geography teacher, in the 2007 American musical romantic comedy film, Hairspray. Jayne is also part of the Women Fully Clothed, a theatrical production in Toronto.

In 2013, she played as Gloria Verrano in the seasons 4 and 5 of the American-Canadian supernatural drama series, Haven. In 2015, she was seen as Brenda in the romantic comedy film, No Stranger Than Love and as Mrs. White in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 in 2016. She also worked as a voiced actress in several films including My Pet Monster, Committed, and Tales from the Crypt keeper, Bob, and Margaret, Freaky Stories, The Care Bears, Free Willy, Anatole, Monster by Mistake, Ned’s Newt, Redwall, For Better or For Worse, and many more.
