Danielle Nicole Panabaker was born on 19th of September, 1987, in Georgia’s Augusta, USA.
She is an actress by profession.
Her mother was Donna Panabaker, and father was Harold Panabaker, who had a sales job. She also has a sister, Kay. Kay was earlier an actress and is now a zoologist.
The actress was brought up in many places as her father got transferred from place to place. After her birth, her family moved to South Carolina in Pennsylvania. When she was in kindergarten, her family moved to Orange in Texas.
She discovered her love for acting when she went to a summer camp. There she did some theater classes. She then decided to pursue acting. From the age of 12, she started doing theater performances in communities. Soon, she also started auditioning for TV commercials.
She spent her middle school years in Naperville, Illinois. Danielle did her schooling first at Crone Middle School and then moved to Neuqua Valley High School. The actress was an active member of the college speech team. She completed her high school when she was just 14.
To pursue her dream of acting, Danielle moved to Los Angeles with her mother and sister. She did her graduation in acting from Glendale Community School, where she was one of the top scorers. She completed Bachelors of Arts from California University in 2007. Here, also, she was among the top rankers.
After a few commercials, she started doing television. One of her initial shows on television was Family Affair (2002), in which she appeared on one episode, “Ballroom Blitz”, playing the role of Parker Lee Ann Aldays. She also appeared in one episode of the famous sitcom, Malcolm in the Middle, in 2003, as Kathy McCulskey, in the episode, “Reese’s Party”. The very same year, she was part of the TV series, The Guardian. For her role in the series, she received the Young Artist Award.
She was also awarded the same award for her work in the TV movie, Searching for David’s Heart, and Yours, Mine and Ours. Other than guest appearances on TV serials, she played the main role in the Empire Falls (2005) and ‘Shark’ (2006-08). In the Empire Falls, she played Christina “Tick” Roby, daughter of the protagonist, Miles Roby.
Presently, the actress is seen in the sitcom, The Flash Click to look into! >> Read More... , as Dr. Caitlin Snow. She was nominated in the category Choice TV Actress in the Teen Choice Awards 2015 for her performance.
She made her big screen debut in the movie Sky High (2005). It was a superhero flick, where she played the role of Layla Williams. The movie was well received.
Her other successful movie outing was Home of the Giants, in which she played Bridgette ‘Bridge’ Bachman.
In 2014, Danielle appeared in the science-fiction thriller, Time Lapse, as Callie. She was praised for her performance. London Independent Film Festival felicitated her with the Best Actress Award in the film.
