Daveigh Elizabeth Chase born as Daveigh Elizabeth Schwallier is an American actress. She is best known for the HBO’s Big Love in which she played Rhonda Volmer. Later, she flew to Los Angeles, California to make a career in acting. She has a younger brother, born in 2006, called Cade. She started early with singing and dancing.

She used to perform in the local area community shows and events in her hometown. When she was four years old, she used to watch Barney & Friends video which inspired her. She won a national vocal competition after her mother enrolled her for Little Miss America Pageant. At the age of seven, due to the success, an agent recognized her potential and got her many commercials to which she lends her voice. For example, she appeared in the advertisement of Campbell's Soup. In 1998, she starred in “Utah” which is a musical theater production.

In 2002, she got her breakthrough with Lilo & Stitch, a Disney animated feature, for which she lend her voice to the lead role, Lilo Pelekai, a Hawaiian girl. The character meets an alien blue dog type creature whom she teaches how to live with the help of music of Elvis Presley. In 2003, she won herself the Annie Award. Later, when the TV series were taken up for making it into a film she lends her voice to them the main character. She voiced the lead character in the American dub of the animated film named Spirited Away. She played the ten-year-old Japanese girl named Chihiro Ogino.

In 2002, she played the lead role of Samara Morgan in the feature movie called The Ring. She won MTV Movie Awards for playing the Best Villain of 2003. She won among nominees like Colin Farrell, Daniel Day-Lewis, Willem Dafoe and Mike Myers. Other credits to her talent include Donnie Darko (played Samantha) and Oliver Beene (did the role of Joyce). In 2002, she appeared in The Rats. In 2003, she did movies like Carolina and R. L. Stine's Haunted Lighthouse. In the year 2006, she played Rhonda Volmer in Big Love. The show is based on the relationship of Henrickson with his wives. She appeared in Leroy & Stich as well as the second season of 2007 release, Big Love. She is cast in Jack's Back for playing Audrey.
