Coleen Gray ( Doris Bernice Jensen ), born October 23, 1922, in Staplehurst, Nebraska, US, was an American Actress. After completing her High School, she did her graduation from Hamline University with a Bachelor of Arts degee. After that she settled in California where she worked as a waitress for several weeks in a restaurant and then registered herself in the University of California. Gray got married thrice.

in 1945 and they got divorced in 1949. They gave birth to a daughter in 1946, namely Susan. She again got married in 1953 to William Clymer Bidlack and they stayed together till he took his last breath in 1978. This union also gave birth to a son in 1954, namely Bruce Robin Bidlack. Later she got married in 1979 to Joseph Fritz Zeiser and they were together till his death in 2012.
She won the 20th Centuary Fox agreement in 1944 due to her roles in “Brief Music” and “Letters to Lucerne”. Coleen was a bit inactive for two years due to her pregnancy and then was seen in 1947 in two movies ie Nightmare Alley and Kiss of Death.
In 1950, she sang in Riding High opposite Bing Crosby and the contract was terminated in that year only as it wasn’t a success. Gray was seen in small supporting roles in many movies like The Sleeping City as a nurse, The Killing in 1956 in which she got the role of a lonely woman who is in need of love, Father Is A Bachelore, P.J. (1968) etc. She also appeared in more than 20 Television Serials. Coleen died on August 3, 2015, at the age of 92 due to natural causes and was buried at Westwood Memorial Park.
