Abby married twice in her life, and she has three children from her first spouse. Their marriage did not last long. After that, she married Joe Mondragon, and it too ended in divorce.
Abby has made numerous appearances on television like ‘Hennesey’ in 1959 to 1962, where she co-starred with Jackie Cooper. She played the role of Lt. Martha Hale in Hennesey. She received a nomination for an Emmy Award for her role as a nurse on CBS's Hennesey. After that, she did The Joey Bishop Show (1961), where she played the role of Ellie Barnes. And later on, she did Falcon Crest, in 1981, where she played the role of Julia Cumson. This is her best-known role to date. Jackie Cooper, Joey Bishop and Jane Wyman are the acting mentors of Abby Dalton.
Abby Dalton is not as successful in films as compared to television. During 1950, she played short roles in films like Teenage Doll. Later, she got her first leading role in the 1957 film, Rock All Night, which was produced by American International Pictures.
