Dean Winters

Dean Winters born on July 20, 1964,is an American actor. He is popular for his role in the HBO prison drama Ozas Ryan O'Reily and has also appeared on many television series such as 30 Rock, Rescues Me, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He also appeared in many Allstate Insurance commercials such as "Mayhem”. He and his three siblings, Bradford Winters (writer),Scott William Winters(actor) and Blair Winters were born in New York City, New York. He spent his childhood in Long Island and teenage in Scottsdale, Arizona. Graduated in 1982 from Colorado College, Winter went to Jesuit Brophy College Preparatory school situated in Phoenix. Winters has appeared as regular in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and as a guest in Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

After more than ten years, in the 13th-season finale of "Rhodium Nights,” he again depicts Detective Brian Cassidy. And reoccurred in the 14th season and became Sergeant Olivia Benson's love interest in the 15th season. In Third Watch, NYPD Blue, Homicide: Life on the Street, Sex and the City, CSI: Miami and 30 Rock, he made a guest appearance. In 1999, he acted in Undercover Angel which is a romantic comedy alongside Yasmine Bleeth and in 2002 in straight-to-video film Hellraiser: Hellseeker of the horror genre. In PS, I Love You, he played the role of Tom and in the US version of Life on Mars played Detective Sam Tyler's father. In one of the season of CBS network, Winters played the role of small town police detective alongside Josh Duhamel who was the FBI Resident Agent of the town.

This series was cancelled in 2015, in the month of May. Recently, On Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Winters has repeated his role as The Vulture and played the supporting role in HBO series Divorce as a divorce lawyer. In June 2009, Winters suffered a bacterial infection and collapsed while entering to his doctor’s office. He went into cardiac arrest while he was being transported to the Central Park in an ambulance for over 2 minutes. He was revived by Paramedics and was hospitalized for three weeks in ICU (Intensive Care Unit). After one year, amputation of half of one thumb and two toes were required because of the development of gangrene. Till 2010, Winters remained away from acting and made his comeback in Tina Frey’s 30 Rock and started working on Mayhem campaign.
