Cary Grant was a British-American actor, one from few leading men in Hollywood during 1940s, his career as an actor in 1930s and took a great start that made him one of the famous personality in the Hollywood industry for his transatlantic accent. Well, Grant was a son of Mr Archibald Alexander Leach and Elias Maria Leach and born and brought up in Bristol, seems like completed his school from Bishop Road Primary School and Fairfield Grammar School. He was from a Shipwrights family he was second child of his parents, elder brother John William who suffered and dies from Tuberculosis Meningitis.

Mr Alexander was an alcoholic and was never so possessive or may say the least bother about his family and unfortunately, his mother suffered from clinical depression so definitely, Grant’s upbringing was not good enough. His mother though did teach him several dancing and singing skills which were obviously a mother’s eternal aspect of making her child best at something, apart from this she often use to take him to cinema which was an act of being frank to his child. Mrs Leach seems to become overprotective and filled with fear as she could even lose Grant as she lost her elder brother, John later Grant’s father sent Mrs Leach to the hospital and rumoured that his mother went on a long holiday, and then he declared her dead.

Both Mr Leach and Grant moved into his Grandmother home in Bristol, his father while dying confessed that his mother is still alive, Grant got to hear this news when he was 31 already being into the cinema he made out some arrangements to meet his mother in 1938. At the Wintergarten Theatre in Berlin, he met Mr Jesse Lasky, a Broadway producer. Grant role in Nikki was praised by Ed Sullivan of The New York Daily News, and signed a contract with a starting salary of $450 a week, also changed his name into ‘Cary Grant’. He made his debut with the movie ‘This is the night’ (1932), and then his journey in this industry became attractive, and there he appeared in numerous of fantastic films and left a mark by his talent.

Though he tackled failure during 1935 but took that moment smartly and got rid of it, after that juncture, he made an increment in his demanded salary per picture to $300,000. During 1937-44 he was at his stardom peek and was also nominated for Oscar award and became the wealthiest star of the Hollywood. After all of his life’s successful film career as he was famous and impressive too was finally got the green card of the USA in 1942.
