Plot

Dalton Trumbo is a screenwriter whose ability places him among the world class of Hollywood. His dynamic entry in the Communist Party, for example, writer Hedda Hopper and performing artist John Wayne. Trumbo is one of 10 screenwriters mentioned to guarantee the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) concerning Communist law in Hollywood movies.
