Angela Sun

Born on October 19, 1979, in the Santa Clara County of California, Angela Sun is an Award-Winning Journalist, Sportscaster, Producer, and Actor. She has a degree in Sociology and Communications from the University of California. Sun had exceptional surfing skills and participated in several pro-am Surf events, which led to her getting sponsorships from big brands like Roxy, Reef Billabong, Vans, etc. The recognition she got from this acted like a slingshot that launched her into the entertainment business. She, later on, went to become an actress, sportscaster, investigative journalist, and film director. Sun has worked for many news channels, mainly as an anchor. She has worked in movies like Goliath (2016), Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016), A Perfect Getaway ( 2009), Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014, Sun released Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a feature-length documentary about plastic pollution in the oceans and how it affects the environment, which she wrote, directed, and produced herself.
