The renowned Indian television news anchor and journalist Anjilee Istwal was born on 29 December in Delhi, India. She completed her graduation in botany from Hindu College, University of Delhi, New Delhi. She studied Post-Graduation Diploma in Mass Communication from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication, Pune. During her post-graduation, she worked at ZEE News for two months. She worked as an editor and wrote content for the ZEE News website. In 1999, she quit ZEE News and joined Aajtak of India Today, where she worked as a correspondent and anchor.
She anchored the weekly magazine called Duniya AajTak, where she discussed current affairs. Anjilee left AajTak in 2003 and joined NDTV India as an associate editor and anchor. She played an major role in starting the Hindi news channel NDTV India. She hosted various shows on NDTV. Her famous programs include the weekly fitness show Fit Rahe India, the lifestyle show Smart Shopper, and the tech show Cell Guru. She hosted other shows, including Paksh Vipaksh, Politics ka Champion Kaun, Politically Incorrect Show, etc. She commenced her fashion brand called Joli by Anjilee. Furthermore, she has a YouTube channel named Travel with Anjilee Ishtwal, where she shares her various trips.
